Lady Willington's Camp Site - Our summer 2023 Pitchup Review

Our Experience at Lady Willington's Camp Site - An Unforgettable Experience

Nestled in the heart of the picturesque North Wales countryside, our recent escape to Lady Willington's Camp Site near Whitchurch was an experience that truly reconnected us with nature and provided the perfect respite from our daily routine. Discovered through the reliable platform Pitchup, this hidden gem turned out to be everything we had hoped for and more.

A Perfect Getaway For A Family With Small Children

As we arrived at Lady Willington's Camp Site, the first thing that struck us was the tranquil atmosphere. The campsite is situated in an idyllic location surrounded by lush greenery, offering a sense of serenity that instantly swept away the stress of city life. The size of the campsite was just right - not too crowded, allowing for a sense of privacy, yet not so vast that it felt overwhelming.

Picasso: The Four-Legged Campsite Celebrity

One of the highlights of our trip was the unexpected encounter with a charming horse named Picasso - a friendly and majestic horse that roams the adjacent field. Picasso quickly became the favorite of the children (and even the adults) as we enjoyed daily cuddles. It was heartwarming to witness the bond formed between the children and this beautiful animal, making our stay even more memorable.

Things To Do In The Area

There are lots of things to do in the local area that we did on our 5 day stay such as family walks, Bewilderwood, Whitchurch Town Centre, Llangollen and the most handy thing is that there are many local shops such as Aldi, so we could easily do a top up shop for snacks and dinners.
